I can relate about the anxiety. The only thing that helps me is my wife, my kids, and unfortunately marijuana(which to be honest is probably doing a better job than a dozen prescription meds could do for me).
I'm learning to control it by my own. At first I lost control of both mind and body, but after many years of having them I learned to detect them and now I only lose control of my body, but I can keep my mind clear. According to the doctor, my problem is that my brain makes weird connections between the celebral hemispheres and that gives me strong anxiety attacks.

I am sorry to hear that Furiend! I have to say, The Furry Fandom has helped me alot! Its only been two and a half, three years since I found it, and you can sure tell a difference in my confidence, and my anxieties have decreased greatly!! Thats why I love it so much!!:)

Black Lives Matter
That is how it works! How can I be excited about going to a Con where there are thousands of people milling about, yet going to the gas station for smokes gives me anxiety. Wtf?
Gas stations are where people go to get knifed.
Be very afeared.

It's given me the chance to take some time for some serious healing myself. Good fandom.
