I love Gimp! It's the next best thing to Photoshop in my opinion and with two mayor advantages.

1: It's free.
2: It's better for drawing (atleast in my experience)

It’s a difficult learning curve, but the tools and shortcuts have helped me immensely as I explore different styles and techniques with my own art. It takes time to learn and get used to but it’s worth it. :]

Yes, I also found Gimp way harder than Photoshop. But I'm awful at this kind of things...
