It's a bit bumpy for the fandom as of late, I agree.
Politics is a hot-button issue as well as popular people like Kothorix and Jasonafex recently making videos and journals (respectively) attacking facets of the community and people getting offended.

The usual topics I see, though why would someone want you banned?

They just don't like me, and they think I support hate speech. They also believe I am part of horrible groups that I have already proven to them I'm not. They just won't stop. I'm afraid they'll go after my boyfriend to get to me, so I've told him to stay off here so he doesn't get attacked too.

I don’t get why there can be so much hate in an “accepting and friendly” community.
