Ok, it's not useless. But it won't make you able to do something you wouldn't do without it. It only makes you try harder.

I'd say having a good constitution is just as important for these sorts of injuries.
Some injuries you just can't power through.
I honestly doubt I'd survive half these.

I guess keeping my dad's revolvers and my mom's necklace kinda helped. Neither one was an angel but I got two guardian spirits watching over me.
