Some random big San Juan event in my city. It is also that time of the month when people build a fire on the streets and set off fireworks.

Processions, building bonfires to burn effigies and setting of fireworks. We do that on the 5th of November.

Oh yes *takes the WIN*

I find it interesting how the event has lots of christian influence in its history and seems to take place in various european countries during this month, whereas they do similar stuff in november in Great Britain for apparently different reasons (as far as I'm aware about Guy Fawkes Night).

AND I WIN

It's called "Bonfire Night", and it's purpose is to disrespect Guy Fawkes. If I remember correctly...

So is there any type of food I don't like?

Traditional San Juan food.

This is called canjica. It's made off corn and milk, and you put cinnamon on it. I CAN SMELL CINNAMON FROM 82781323897123 KILOMETERS AWAY
Did you mistake this for a "Question And Answer" thread at any point? With imaginary questions?
