*itches* Thanksy!

While I do love the different aspects in each time of the day we could maybe have longer mornings. Or, make a day entirely of morning, the next one a 24-hour night and so on, perhaps... Along with the required brain/body adaptations.

Going for now *hugs @everyfur*
That would be interesting
There are places far enough north that the sun will rarely come out though, so that’s pretty close! (And cold!)
Barrow, the northernmost town in Alaska, won't see the sun for 67days come winter, they enjoy the midnight sun all summer - over 80 days of uninterrupted daylight.

@TacomaTheDeer I is not fun when sleep gets messed up. Do you know if your sleep is a restful sleep or disrupted through the night. For example wake up intermittently or you find all your beading messed up when you awake in the morning?
I don’t often wake up randomly, and the bed doesn’t seem to messed up, I don’t think it’s one of those two. Thanks for the concern though

I never sleep on time... which is why I don't feel like sleeping......

For myself I do not have difficulty getting to sleep but I get night anxiety.

My method of thinking and processing the world around me does not give me much flexibility in progressing the abstract emotional stuff in my awake state.
So this gets deferred and I process this stuff subconsciously in my dreams as I sleep.
When times are difficult these dreams not only disrupt my sleep but they also affect me physically.
For myself I have to enact change in my present circumstances to provide a long-term resolution to my present difficulty with sleep anxiety. This is not something that will be achievable in a short time. So for the present I am under the direction of my doctor using a prescription medicine that helps me from waking so often during the night.

There can be a number of reasons that could leave you finding that you are not refreshed when you awake and result in over sleeping. If you are finding this to be a problem over a prolonged period then speaking with a medical professional about this can be a sensible thing to do.
