All social media of mine uses an alias. Tyger is the name I've gone by since I was...like 2years old(I used to bite and growl... xD ).
The email I use for job applications is legalfirstname.legallastname@live.com which there's only two accounts I have that use my legal name. Everything else is under Tyger.
In the US it's becoming more and more common to do social media checks of employees, and it is something you should be mindful of.
But again, they have to prove it you. Which if it's not linked to your real name, email you applied with, or has an image of you, they wouldn't be able to prove anything. =]
