Funny thing is that I learned to use the stinger at The Naval Air Station in Atlanta(now closed) when I was still a senior in High School. I was in the delayed entry program, so we recruits got to do some pretty cool shit before we were even out of school.
I once blew up one of the science labs at my high school, by accident.

I remember kids lighting the gas taps, and sticking test leads in a power socket and shorting them to watch the spark!
Mind you, it didn't get a lot better in the labs I worked in after graduating. I remember a colleague starting a fire by leaving alcohol soaked tissue inside the Gas Chromatography machine after doing maintenance. That's a wad of tissue inside a high temperature oven just below a glass tube with explosive Hydrogen gas running through it, inches away from a detector that uses radioactive material as part of it...

Mmmhmmm. Accident. Right.o_O
Terrifyingly in this case it was. I’d missed an important practical test owing to illness so I was put in a lab by myself to follow the instructions on the board. Unfortunately the teacher had made a mistake writing them down so I didn’t put enough suppresser in so I ended up with the equivalent of a half stick of TNT. It blew out all the windows, collapsed the dropped ceiling vaporised the desk and deafened me for the next two weeks. The only reason I wasn’t hurt was because it started fizzing alarmingly and I took cover behind the next desk.
