Latex is horrid stuff. With the work I do the cable I handle is rubber insulated. Even though I take great care to protect my skin some how some has got to my hands. The swelling and pain has now subsided but my hands now have thick layers of dead skin peeling of them. And I have to moisturize the thin new skin to keep it from splitting and bleeding. At times this can get on top of me leaving me feeling down because of it.
