Well Bards can fit that role fine.
They're decent in combat and they can get some pretty strong songs.
Then they can go sorcerer, swashbuckler, etc

I'm used to D&D 3.5 but I'd eventually like to try playing Pathfinder.

I'm used to D&D 3.5 but I'd eventually like to try playing Pathfinder.

Pathfinder is what I play usually, and it's pretty solid and familiar if you know 3.5

There does seem to be an awful amount of it. Might we suggest a ban on firearms within this thread.
