I find work is only unbearable when outside work isn't all that well.. When I'm in a good mood work is a lot easier. I never understood how people enjoyed working.. I still don't.. but I'm starting to find it bearable as my mood improves..

it's much easier when you get to leave work every day. and actually be able to enjoy some time off
