Right, so I'm finding myself in a bit of a situation here. I'm looking into another skydive but apparently they jump on the days I work, plus I'm a few kilo overweight, so I was thinking about training up to become a tandem master, turn it into a job but I'm also not sure if they only do that on the days I work too. Not sure what to do here.

I would first investigate how much demand there is for tandem skydiving and the costs of providing such a service to determine if a viable living could be made from it.

I've looked into the costs and it sounds like the availability of pilots and tandem masters are in short supply in my region. I was thinking once I'm trained up I could work for an agency.

What I am saying it is for you to have to decide whether or not to take the leap of faith and chase your dreams.
Well, I wouldn't call it a dream, but it's something I wouldn't mind having a crack at at the same time. But if I go through an agency I wouldn't have to worry about, well, all the drama.
