I'm gotta post an excerpt from a story I'm writing
The day started off with just a simple walk through the woods, many wild animals were just beginning to wake up and peer out of their dens. Though not very eventful, walking beside Ricky had given her a good look at how he moved. A brisk pace with an even gate in his step, sometimes he'd stop to take in their surroundings and sometimes he'd hum to himself. Their walk had taken them to a small clearing surrounded by cherry trees, the blossoms just about ready to fly.
She always loved to watch cherry blossoms float upon the breeze, it helped her to relax when her mind was in turmoil. She was enjoying the sight when she heard Ricky mumble something. Curiosity got the best of her, she asked him what he said.
“I just said that this looks like something out of a romance novel.” He replied before starting off into space as he continued.
“As the cherry blossoms began to fall, he held her hands and began to dance. Her heart pounded as she joined, staring into his emerald orbs as he led her through steps she didn't know she could do. They spun and swayed like wisps of smoke and the cherry blossoms swirled around them like fireflies. When the two were face to face, nothing but mere inches away from one another, they let their lips continue the dance.”
