Which is why I'd like to end it all.

No! Don't do that..
I mean..you still get money from working.. :3 So you can use that wisely or feed a severe video game console addiction, like I do..

only 5-6 days straight?

Well for me, part time, yes. It's about eight hours a day.

Also consider the fact that,

I work in jewelry, but hardly make any commission due to customers wanting me to check out mounds of clothes instead, making serious jewelry customers leave,

scanning every piece of jewelry and "fashion" jewelry item individually for inventory,

having customers scream at you just because their "rewards points" are either expired or not there yet, making the check out process even longer since it takes 30 minutes to call said rewards points office,

having only 30 minute lunch breaks, compared to hour long ones when it comes to other jobs I've had,

cleaning up the glass displays and all the messes / empty boxes (from stolen jewelry) from customers,

Being stopped every five minutes from your tasks because of customers who don't know how to read (or too lazy to check out at the Actual check out area)

Having to sell credit cards to customers to meet a quota despite everyone thinking the store's going out of business

Writing down a log of information whenever someone buys a solitaire ring

Writing down a log of information when someone wants to send their jewelry out for repair / picks up their jewelry from repair

Comparing your job position to every other position in the store - simply checking out a customer, and that's Literally it.

There's more, but that's the most annoying situations I've got so far..

Retail Sucks..I'm guessing it's retail, right?
It's like they don't think (nor care) that we have lives outside of work. I don't even think I had a single day off in December..
