Learning Time..

I'm thinking about getting a tablet so I could possibly go outside the traditional art spectrum. How long was the learning curve for those that use a tablet? I could imagine that the hand eye coordination takes some getting used to...

Any advice would be great!

After the first hour or so of using my first tablet, I started to get the hang of it. c:

It took me an hour or two. Practise circles, straight lines and S-lines and you will be a master in no time ^_^

I almost got it in around ten mins

Depends on how much you practice with it. For me the issue is learning how to color digitally, but that all comes down to brushes and techniques. You should get it in no time.

Yeah, it was pretty easy to get the hang of ... at least with good drawing software and the pressure sensitivity kicking on immediately. It helped me get into the idea of painting more, actually, where I had only drawn before.

Even if it does take a bit to figure out, time tends to fly by when experimenting for the first time with it I found - pretty exciting. There's always an endless amount of technique to learn after getting the hang of it though ^^
