Liking Humans - is it Frowned upon..?

In an alternate Furry universe - Would it be weird or frowned upon if a Furry was attracted to humans instead..?

In that universe, would You be a furry attracted to humans instead of other furries or more than furries in general?

How do you feel about that, if it were a true situation?

... Honestly, I'd be Super secretive about how much I'm into male humans if I were a part of that universe :D

(Also I apologize if this is in the wrong section of FA..idk if this should be placed here or in a role-play part of the forums..Idk, I think this is a good spot, right..?)

I’d think that it could have parallels like gay or interracial marriages have had. I’d think it would be frowned upon at first in religions, social classes, politics, and the sort, but see the progressive change like we are now. Granted, with such huge biological differences, it would take a bit longer.

I think it would depend on the specific realities of biology to some degree. Are all species similarly sized? (It would probably generate more stigma if you pursue a relationship with a knee-height bunny or a ten foot tall moose, than if they're all about the same size as humans.) Are humans and furries interfertile? Are different furry species interfertile?

And so on.

The porn industry would no doubt create lines of interspecies fetish porn regardless. ;)

Sounds like it would be an interspecies relationship, and we all know how frowned upon that is.

What are you, a fleshy?

But with humans and furries together, well I'd imagine humans (assuming they were the first ones and furries evolved over time) would naturally be fearful of them, most likely making their children fear them aswell and what not.
And most likely the furries would want peace, like any other thing that get misrepresented.

Although I imagine furries to be normal size like humans, mostly because it seems weird to potentially have something like a large creature dating a tiny small creature like a mouse. (Also mean any interspecies breeding, but also denies litters.)
If they were completely different size I know a lot of things might be more weird/awkward.

I've thought about this a bit myself, too!
I always figured a furry that was into humans would be more into how humans are attracted to the softness or textures of animal furs, rather than how physically attractive the humans are (that would just be a plus to the situation). I mean, speaking realistically, we're all skin, so we can feel the softness of a creature's fur all over our body. Furries on the other hand(paw?) are furred/feathered all over, and the only sensitive "skin" parts of them are their unmentionables and their paws/pads (and whiskers, I suppose), so I'm sure they're not as interested in feeling their own fur all the time (otherwise we'd see more dogs petting each other, I'm sure).
I hope that makes sense? So I imagined furries would interact how humans interact: totally normal with each other. But a human interacting with a furry would have a hard time with personal space because their natural instinct is just "I want to pet the soft dog!" and that's probably some furry's secret kink, just to be pet all over.

I think others said it best, in that it would be treated as any other modern political viewpoint, where it would evolve over time based on global political growth/etc.
Probably taboo initially, and then they'd open up to the idea slowly.

This is just my head-canon, though!

As for the personal question:
I think if I were able to be a furry in a furry + human world...Hm.. Personally it'd probably be how I am now. Whoever shows me great love, affection, and emotional support would be my one and only.
If my hubby got transported there, and were or weren't a furry too, I wouldn't care either way, as I love him regardless.

The world I write in has both. There's a wolf race, humans, dwarves, elves... etc...
The wolves at the time my stories take place are looked upon with mild distain at best, with only a few exceptions. The wolves for the most part don't care, but their country has been attacked enough that if a human does show up, a human would be treated with caution at best and murdered at worst.

So in addition to having to live somewhere other than the wolf nation, a mixed couple like that could expect to be frowned upon by the humans and ambivalent to the wolves.

The way our society exists currently, I'd say it's a safe bet that anything out-of-species would be outlawed or at best society would not approve of it as a whole. The animal traits would be enough for claims of "this is bestiality" to have some ground. I also agree with an above comment about different animal sizes posing concerns. Some anthros would most likely be much bigger or much smaller than humans and it's pretty disturbing to consider tbh...

Oh, no..... certainly not..... it wouldn't be weird at all !

In fact - it might even be exciting..... meaning, when a Furry transports himself to the "real world" universe - he can still take his Furry mate, along with him, after he transitions back into human life. ;)

To some degree it seems odd if an alternate furry universe would find humans taboo if they also had relationships with other species. A mammal dating a mammal makes more sense than a mammal/reptile or fish/amphibian pairing.

DISGUSTANG!

Btw, I'm just speaking in General with liking Humans in a furry universe..I didn't think or want to mention into depths of..uh.. sexual intercourse....I meant like just an Attraction to them in a furry universe..
But these responses are completely understandable.. :3

I don't really have much of substance to add here, I just want to say that I REALLY REALLY want to see some fiction of this scenario, and am so happy that somebody shares this weird interest.

You know, that could be an interesting scenario! An idea like this reminds me of a little sci-fi trilogy known as Mass Effect. In that game trilogy, you can be romantically involved with alien species. I think furry and human relationships work in the same vein, but of course, the taboo aspect of it is something you could consider. I’m down for an idea like this, fren!

I posted way back on reddit 3 ways that it could work.

  • The anthro's genes allow the human but never takes any human only bit's. Like left or right ear, no fur and more.
  • It's a recent thing in that universe by artificial means
  • By luck through experimenting, So any anthro with a human dad is hybrid like no fur, sightly small muzzle, ear on the sides of head and human like feet not big paws that mimics toes...
I still think a Canine anthro wouldn't sound that odd speaking English if there muzzle has muscles and tongue to speak. Or there language could be those 2 green aliens from the Simpsons, a totally different language that just the same by chance with quirks.

As a member of a species from Titania that resembles Earth goats, I can say that most alien races that resemble what you call anthros don't like humans.

It's not because you ruined your planet either. It's the smell.

Your whole planet smells of human body odor. I think you can't smell it for some reason but everyone else can.

We are one of the few races that live on your planet because well.. we like the smell.

Us Takir like noxious body smells like puke, fart and sweat, especially sweat.

Your planet is like a paradise to us. It makes us feel.. good? excited? energetic? romantic? sensual? thirsty?

Actually maybe I shouldn't say what it makes us feel. That's probably a little TMI.

So rest assured that even though the Jovians can't stand you, you planet has friends on a little blue planet.

Also human feet are so weird and adorable. /)^u^(\

In my story, in the furry plane of existence, I have it so that humans are treated as a delicacy. Most people go out of their way to collect the humans that have fallen through and sell them for a pretty penny.
What becomes of them afterwards, is up to the buyer so... pretty much what any slave has ever been used for. Labor, sex, killed and eaten, etc.

If furries could communicate and interact with humans so well, I feel like it'd just be 'normal', like all the different races co-existing (mostly) in games like Mass Effect.
