Main Site Locking shouts for banned/suspended accounts

So, I recently looked at the profile page of a user who has been banned from FA for a few years. But even since then, people have been piling shouts (none of them friendly) onto their page even fairly recently. It’s a person of some infamy (and one I’ve blocked personally on a few sites).
But it seems a bit, for lack of a better word, unfair. Kind of like kicking someone when they’re down. Hardly seems constructive in any case.
So, would it be possible to lock shouts for banned or permanently suspended accounts?

Isn't it useful to find out from the shouts why the user was banned? If this is a fraudster, perhaps he uses the same nickname or slightly changes it. If one account is blocked, maybe you will meet a second, active one. Will you at least be careful? Sometimes users upload another profile belonging to the user to the shouts.

We can lock shouts, but only upon request. It's something they could potentially email to us.
