Wolves, Foxes and Dragons IMO.
I'd say Wolves/Dogs, Foxes, Cats. In that order.
"What is right is not always popular, and what is popular is not always right."
Also, I find it surprising judging from all of the people that like to split hairs around here no one commented on the misspelling in the thread title yet.
One might then wonder whether choosing something less common for the sake of being unique is necessarily better then choosing a fox or a wolf because that's what suits you best, though. It almost comes across to me as someone with no creativity because they couldn't pick something a little more unique. I'm not trying to be a bitch here, it's just my opinion.
I honestly have no idea why people with uncommon fursona's think they're so special. Not only does it actually take more work to make a common character unique then it does to just pick a random animal that no one would WANT to be, but also, being special and original isn't everything. I mean, I've known people that have your regular average red fox or wolf character, and their PERSONALITY has left a much deeper impression then someone with their crazy platypus/demon/kitsune/washing-machine thing fursona.
