though I could care less which is more overdone then the other.

Well, seeing as it was the original topic of the thread.

Just pointing out that the answer is continually debatable and will never reach a definitive answer. I was trying not to throw myself into the debate but I find myself knee deep and sinking. XD

LOL for the longest time I was a wolf.
Then I was sad because I was tired of being a wolf. They seem too overdone :| Short from giving my fursona blinding colors that shits rainbows, I couldn't seem to find anything original.
Yeah, a coyote is not any "different" but...it's whatever. If the mass majority believes they are wolves, then by God, let them. They'll grow out of it lol.

To each his own.

The same people who are sick of seeing 50,000 of the same anime-inspired characters that can be told apart only by their name and color swaps.

This is a pretty easy one: wolves and foxes.

Dogs in general are used quite often, but my reason for being a husky is quite simple: a friend of mine once drew me as a husky since he thought me to be quite the loyal friend. I look at that now and see where he came from: I am loyal to my friends, even when I screwing with their minds!

I am still curious as to how foxes are so popular, especially amongst males...

I mean last time I checked, something/someone that is "foxy" is generally considered quite feminine is it not?

Most of the dudes in the fandom are gay :V .

Only If your among them.

I used to Like wolves, Not because they are so damn popular. Now I had to fall back upon my secondary, a Cheetah. But that was boring so now I am a Beaner. As of earlier today

I can easily a Wolf over a Cheetah, and most of my art was centered around wolves.

Not A Fox

nothing
Foxes probably, because furries somehow came to the conclusion that they're the sluttiest thing on earth, making them the ideal fursona for all the socially retarded perma-virgins here to live out their sad, creepy sexual fantasies online with.
