Actually, I think there's a few topics we should ban outright, and politics is one of them. The majority of users here appear to be either under aged or lacking the knowledge and maturity to really discuss political issues effectively. That might sound like it goes against my Libertarian principles, but FurAffinity is anything but Libertarian in its own principles, and my principles say FurAffinity should do what's best for itself as an organization, and anyone who has a big enough issue with it should fuck off to somewhere else.
And this isn't just because of all the God damned Ron Paul dick riding by certain users either. I've been wanting to say this for a while.

I often believe in the Fuck Hope, Give me Money political party. It's a very capitalist view and I think everyone immediately got off-topic.
If I'm not mistaken, he's requesting a new forums section called "Politics" or something clearly defined for political debates that will serve no purpose for most people but to entrench them even more firmly in backward philosophies that they often just support emotionally, not thinking about the cost of healthcare, the state of the industry, and how difficult it might be to change things when they're often dictated by different sectors in the economy.
ANYWAY.
I THINK IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE A POLITICAL SECTION ASIDE FROM RANTS EVEN THOUGH I DON'T REALLY CARE ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.
Not all political posts are going to be rants right away.
It'd be nice to have the bullshit you want to spout be clearly defined instead of having to wade through posts like "Gee golly, don't you hate it when your underwear rides up the crack of your ass? :3" and other non-rants and polls about who would win if two video game franchises fought one another.
And no, we shouldn't ban speech. It sounds un-Libertarian because it isn't Libertarian. Like "I know it looks like I have red paint on my hands but. I don't. Even though I just dipped them in this can. And you all saw. Let me explain."

If we ban people from talking about topics that they lack knowledge and maturity to understand, based on just my last several days of browsing, I think this is going to be one seriously empty forum.

But I'd like to point out that if political discussions were banned here, a certain user here would have nothing to talk about, and I myself would have little to talk about, and both of those things would make a lot of people here very, very happy.

Granted, I don't think I've seen a post yet that didn't scream "THIS IS ABOUT POLITICS" from the title alone. Reader beware and all that, it's hard not to know what you're getting into with these.
