Hello! This is my first post and kind of an important one to me.

For so long I’ve struggled to comfortable with who I am and that has always caused so many hurdles in my life. Especially in my art. I am finally learning how to harness a sense of expression and identity and in this, learning much about myself. I won‘t get into details, but I’ve been struggling for the past few years and am finally learning how to have fun again. How to express myself. Be my own person. That sense of self doesn’t have to be so heavy. Everything doesn’t have to be so serious and it’s okay to be silly and have fun finding yourself.

With that said, I decided to stop just being an admirer of your art here and join the fun, with hopes of advancing my art and boundaries and hopefully making a few friends

I love all animals and would love to know about how you yourself came to your fursona or what animals you love

also would really really appreciate any art critiques as this is not my norm but hoping to make it much more so, possibly professionally

personally, I am just getting into digital art. Specifically using Procreate but I still dabble in classic painting. What artist doesn’t feel satisfied with a freshly painted canvas and the painted clothes to match?

Mockingbird - Wolf (Ronins Daughter) that controls fire and metal
Black with dark red eyes, uses a lot of bladed weapons.
as for hairstyles and clothes, I have searched for a long time and can't decide. also the wings come out of her back.

Is this the Marvel comic character? I don’t follow many of the comics stories these days but if you’d like to give me a bit of her personality I’d love to whip something up!! the more you’d like to describe her to me the better cause it helps set the mood and mindset for creating characters

No, I did not intend to make it the MCU character but...
her personality is independent, mysterious, bold, loving, outgoing, and extroverted.
She is willing to fight to protect the people around her. She uses 2 wakizashi and 2 tantō blades. but she also uses those dagger-looking throwing knives.

Yeah I write stories and stuff. Not great at it yet, mostly just design worlds and stuff. Slowly learning art so I can illustrate for myself

I highly recommend procreate if you do digital stuff! idk how much you practice too but working digitally definitely helps save some shelf space haha my room is over run with sketchbooks. Not complaining though, they’re great to reference back to when I’m stuck

it’s not that I can always pump art out this fast but I’m very much in my element lately. Trying to keep the momentum going, ya know? I used to do a lot of nature art and trying something new has been invigorating. I’d really like to get to the point I can sell professionally

I really hope one day I can be good at art
I'm so adhd that practice is hard to keep up with, and I stress myself out whenever things turn out bad (which is always cause im not good yet)
And I feel like I really dont know what I'm doing despite watching tutorials and stuff. Like I can't get down the abstract sense for how to make some 3d picture on a 2d page, or even get shapes right
Really dont know mate...
idk sorry for vent im depressed tonight and really need to just go to bed
