so for example, if I were to have my account marked as "deceased" would my blocked users be able to fave my arts then? if a user is dead would the block feature be nullified for all accounts that the user had blocked when they were alive? as in the rhyme: "when the cat is away the mice will play"??

I for one cherish all the faves that others given to me,

You mean your FA gallery?
yes my gallery, but would it remove everyone from my block list if I were to one day kick the bucket? I have tried to add some users to my watch list but I can't because they are marked as "deceased", would the blocked users not be able to fave my art even if I'm(for example) already dead??

To the best of my knowledge marking an account as deceased doesn’t change any other account information. I doubt there’s a special case to override blocks for deceased accounts, so… If they couldn’t fav the art before the account was marked as deceased, I’d assume they can’t after, either.

Consider: if blocks were overridden by the deceased status, someone previously blocked could come and e.g. leave shouts on the profile. If this is someone with a grudge, that could get ugly and add further trauma to the late account owner’s friends.

Since we're on the topic of deceased accounts, I was wondering, do these accounts become effectively banned from the user's perspective, or can someone the person trusted with their password be assigned as a profile curator, to log in and deal with messages etc.?

That'd probably have to be looked at case by case. I would imagine it would be possible and if my memory serves me, has occurred before to some level.

I've seen one or two cases where someone (such as the deceased's SO) has been given access to the account, for instance to post a journal announcing their death.
