what is it like? how many people on FA have done this? how many losers still live at home?

it's funny for me because my two best friends are moving out and they're far younger than I am.

dammit I'm 21. D: but I'm scared. my "stable work" is making fursuits for y'all.

anyway. this is a thread about moving out.

should I move out? the situation at home has become rather unbearable.

Moving out depends on your perspective. If you are a very independent person, quite obviously you are likely to do well. If you aren't, then as it would seem you will have a tougher time.


When I moved away, I couldn't have been happier. I removed myself from volatile surroundings to a very docile, productive atmosphere. It also allowed me to enjoy my freedoms and have my say with whatever I want (since, you know, it's all mine within the confines of my living space). Though, you just need to be sure to pick up on being responsible as quite literally if you don't do it, no one will. Of course, I value my privacy and personal living quarters and thus refused roommates (for those reasons). It can be a big change, but it is a necessary one.
