MTV is coming to my school

And there are now posters flooding the fuck out of the hallways. Apparently, MTV's "Made" is hosting auditions at 5 local schools, and mine is currently included as one of them. For anyone who hasnt seen the show, they take one teenager (normally one of the outcasts of the school) and turn them into whatever the fuck they want to be appeared as. I.e being crowned prom king/queen, make it on the football team, become a rapper, all that fun stuff.

What I find hilarious, is that my school is such a bad idea for them to feature. The students in my school are most likely going to troll the CHRIST out of the production (if we actually manage to get chosen, that is). I really dont know what they could get away with, with a whole film crew and most likely some security present, but whatever happens would be fucking hilarious.

I got asked to audition, but I declined it. Simply because of the fact there really isnt anything I want to be made into, so I just wouldnt be a good role.

So have you guys ever had any kind of somewhat big productions in your areas?

I had 50 Cent in my hometown to film movies. Apparently he made some sort of deal with the city.

A few movie scenes were shot in my area and FOX news once came to my school last year during breakfast because our homecoming game was coming up and they wanted to see how pumped we were for it or something.

The film Braveheart was filmed up near where I used to live in Scotland, and the actor John Barrowman (Jack Harkness in Torchwood) lives near where I used to live. I never met him, but I seen the house. Other then that not much really...

Not any really local stuff, and I don't think there will be anything for a while because of the film companies abusing the tax credits in Iowa.

They went to my school. I filled out an application to be made into a pornstar.

A show called Man vs. Food was filmed at a restaurant in my town a couple weeks ago.

There's a nudist colony here they're going to use as the setting for a reality TV show, too. *headdesk*

Lol. A scene from "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" was filmed in my town.

If a camera comes by you, tell 'em the FAF sais hi! xD
Anyway no, never had big TV reporters in my city, only from local channels.

I hate "Made" so much. It's just a bunch of insecure teens who don't appreciate what they have so they have to be somebody they're not.

On the actual topic, the only movies I know that were filmed in my town were Diggstown and a UFO documentary.

Disturbia was filmed not too far from where I live, and the high school I went to was the set of Hill Valley High in Back to the Future.

Few commercials, too. McDonald's, Regions, and WalMart as far as I know.

What you need to do is claim that you want to be made into a furry. Then when they choose you, the longer they film for, you have to act progressively more and more gay and depraved.

Then rape the production manager or one of the runners.

We won some 'walk the most steps on your pedometer' contest for Channel One news that they show in some schools. They said that they would go to the winner's school for a broadcast but they never did, hurr.

Just as well cause a lot of people cheated with the things.

The Dark Night was filmed all over Chicago. As I recall, there is a point in the movie where you can see my old college.

Also, if you know the city, there are a lot of interesting inconsistencies about location. At one point you see batman riding his motorcycle through millennium station (basically a fancyish hallway that leads to the train platforms), then in the next moment he pops out of some parking garage. I was just thinking, "lol, that is not where that hallway leads at all".

I also just remembered that Mall Cop was filmed at the mall I go to all the time. We always make fun of the security guards who ride their segways everywhere

They filmed portions of Percy Jackson and the Olympian Thief in my hometown because we have The Parthenon (full scale replica to be exact).

Sometimes I find it annoying when a location is associated almost solely on the fact that a film was shot there.

Then again, I tend to hate malls in general.
