MTV is coming to my school

And there are now posters flooding the fuck out of the hallways. Apparently, MTV's "Made" is hosting auditions at 5 local schools, and mine is currently included as one of them. For anyone who hasnt seen the show, they take one teenager (normally one of the outcasts of the school) and turn them into whatever the fuck they want to be appeared as. I.e being crowned prom king/queen, make it on the football team, become a rapper, all that fun stuff.

What I find hilarious, is that my school is such a bad idea for them to feature. The students in my school are most likely going to troll the CHRIST out of the production (if we actually manage to get chosen, that is). I really dont know what they could get away with, with a whole film crew and most likely some security present, but whatever happens would be fucking hilarious.


I got asked to audition, but I declined it. Simply because of the fact there really isnt anything I want to be made into, so I just wouldnt be a good role.

So have you guys ever had any kind of somewhat big productions in your areas?

A few movie scenes were shot in my area and FOX news once came to my school last year during breakfast because our homecoming game was coming up and they wanted to see how pumped we were for it or something.

On the actual topic, the only movies I know that were filmed in my town were Diggstown and a UFO documentary.

Disturbia was filmed not too far from where I live, and the high school I went to was the set of Hill Valley High in Back to the Future.

Few commercials, too. McDonald's, Regions, and WalMart as far as I know.

The Dark Night was filmed all over Chicago. As I recall, there is a point in the movie where you can see my old college.

Also, if you know the city, there are a lot of interesting inconsistencies about location. At one point you see batman riding his motorcycle through millennium station (basically a fancyish hallway that leads to the train platforms), then in the next moment he pops out of some parking garage. I was just thinking, "lol, that is not where that hallway leads at all".

Sometimes I find it annoying when a location is associated almost solely on the fact that a film was shot there.

Then again, I tend to hate malls in general.
