You think you can replace FAF? I'm sorry to say this, but I doubt it. I don't think more than 5 furs will move from here. And even so, we have nothing. Starting all over again is very hard, I do not know...:(

You're mad at me for nothing. You and others just don't understand how hard it is to maintain a forum. This is a huge job that takes a lot of time. Even if you don't spend money, you're still wasting invaluable time. You'll understand after a while.

It's honorable, but I guess there is a reason why forums aren't a thing anymore. People apparently want big group-chats.

It's a rash reaction, and I would be surprised if it manages to survive even just half a year. (positively surprised, don't get me wrong, but still).

It's cute, but you don't have to do it "to prove it." I understand your desire to move the existing order to a new place, I'm sad too. But that's not possible. If you can join the discord, do it. If not, accept the loss. You're not the only ones who wanted to save something. In the end, a fleeting grudge is not enough to create and maintain something grandiose.

I know im not the first... but Im by far the most stubborn and when someone tells me I can't I'll make sure to prove them and everyone else wrong

Forums with small user numbers are most useful for niche topics and "cozy" groups of people. Say a certain fandom or activity. Like Art related, gaming, etc. And you'd attract consistent traffic for that specific thing. When I ran an Oekaki board/forum for many years, it was "Come for the art; Stay for the Community". It's also not a place for "everything" like FAF is. Think of it like a "pit stop" or a "detour". Find out what your "thing" is and people will have a reason to keep visiting.

Now, to whoever might be interested, the little forums currently counts 28 members. Doesn’t look very pretty as of now, but it is not even a day old, so it will likely improve.
(Or in different word “bump”)

Well. I saw an inadequate reaction to criticism. The main reason why I was hesitant to join is that children cannot be administrators and mods. Good luck, guys.

Is it really gone!? I went to bed and now I get up to this! X3 I'm really super disappointed because I was gonna be really supportive and stuff. T_T I wonder if we can get Tails Refuge back up and going because that's the only other forum that was really big. It even had an FA and Steam group. Oh wells. I wish I had gotten everyone's info first. But I did get to get a lot of their FA's watched, at least.
