Need help deciding what to do...

Day Coydog

Cute, Pink Eyesore
This is one of my first full-frame digital art pieces and what I want to know is if I should keep the fire flies, scrap them, or change the lay out. It is not yet finished, there are still a few things I need to ad and change, such as Day (I'm going to Re do him so that this art piece will be comprised of only my work). Please if you have anything else to say about it tell me. Thanks!

I would upload the images on this thread, but for the life of me I can't figure out why it says the files are invalid, so here ya go:

Hm... the fireflies add a neat aspect to the piece, so I would keep them-- however, that many might be a bit overkill. Maybe keep five or so where you want them, but nuke the rest as it takes away from the picture as a whole.

Hey, Assbutt
Work on the fireflies. They're just indistinct yellow blobs. Also, cut it out with the Photoshop grass brush. If you absolutely have to use it, then do multiple layers with different sizes of grass, make pressure control size and jitter, and pick some grass colours, because I've never seen white grass. You want a lighter green and a darker green in there, and keep changing your greens. At the moment it just looks like someones badly pasted grass cutouts onto some dirt.

Don't worry, grass is just place holing right now, and I'm not sure why photoshop put white grass too.

And thanks, both of you.
