New Ads - Possible Viruses

Ever since FurAffinity has had those new ads that pop up over the whole screen and require clicking a close button to get rid of them, I have noticed that sometimes when changing pages, such as going from new submissions back to the main page, or from reading messages to checking out a submission, that something is triggering a download. Usually its an html file.

It's definitely an ad doing it because the FA site was the only one I had open and I didn't click anything other than the FurAffinity logo to return to the main page.

Then somethin' in your browser is blocking them. The popup ads are a different story and happen irregularly, but you should have some kind of banner ads.

If you use firefox. Use the UBLOCK ORIGIN extension. It blocks malicious scripts and trackers from running in your browser as well as pop ups.

Even with ublock origin/adblock plus at times. Whenever i am on the forums i tend to get alot of malicious activity when browing older posts.
