New and like.. Nervous?

First off.. Hi! I’ll try and make this as short as possible because I don’t wanna make you read a ton.. I’m extremely new to this fandom and I wanted to learn more and make some cool friends. I don’t know anything so maybe someone could be sort of a guide and hold my hand (or paw) through this. I’m only 16 and I’m gay so idk if that’s a problem for anyone, id be down to talk privately (if anyone was into that) I just need someone cool because there’s literally no one who’s support this where I live.. but I guess that’s common for a lot of people.

So please! Help me out! I’m literally the most accepting person and I’m down for (most) things! I mean as long as you aren’t some 40 something year old trying to like get nudes (which I’m sure none of you are) then we’ll get along fine!

The thing I found that's the best to do in a new situation is to sit back and get a feel for the community.
Lurk for a little bit and get a feel for each subforum, as people generally stick to one or two of them.
Make a mental note of the people you seem to like the most and just hang out in forums with them.

Heya! First off welcome! And second off just about everyone I've met in the fandom has been incredibly nice, some albeit weird but usually still super nice! I'm gay too, and I think a lot of people in the community are and even if they're not, in my experience, they're super accepting of it ^w^
