New kid on the block here to say "Hello!"

As the title states, I'm a new kid on the block! Just joined today. I'll be lurking for a long time I'm sure, but did want to throw a little intro out there.
I'm a chef by day, hoarder/crafter by night. I love making and sewing creations, styling cosplay wigs, drawing. You name it, I've probably dabbled in it at some point!
I live in Canada where it can get pretty chilly. Although, I do live in an area where it's classified as a rainforest, so not as cold as you may think. Damp cold is awful and that's what I get here. Dry cold is much more pleasant (I'm looking at you Ontario!) but your dang heat in Ontario can suck it. It's awful. No place for me to live ever again haha.
Let's see. I do enjoy RPing at times with my pony, Rosalee! I can be slow to reply at times because of my full time job (I typically work at 4:30am). I'll reply daily, but can't guarantee like, rapid succession so to speak.
I'm not sure what else to put here, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I would love to make some new friends and learn about others. Any other Canadians hanging around in here?

I am yes! I live on Vancouver Island! I wish I knew some locals to hang out with. How did you enjoy the East Coast? I've always wanted to go out there! I've been to Ontario. I lived there for a few years while I completed my Culinary program and it was AWFUL! The weather was just NO BUENO. D:< Where abouts do you live now, if you don't mind my asking?

I love reading about everyones adventures, crafting stuff etc. I hope to start building partial suits by next year for myself in time for a large convention in August. I was in Newfoundland. It was very beautiful; there were reindeer and humpback whales.

I'm originally from the South of England and that's where I live most of the time.

That's great to hear you're getting along with folk around here already! Everyone thus far has been really nice and I too am enjoying it here quite much.

I see your profile profile picture is that of a pony indeed, and she does look really adorable by the looks of it! I wish you luck on making a suit of your sona to come reality soon one day!
