Ok so I've been interested in furry for a little bit now. I'm all new to everything and I'm wanting to create a character and learn more about it all. Can someone please help me make one maybe find an artist? Give me tips and show me the ropes? Thanks you guys

I am quite competent in the character creation process though. I normally make villains.

Best thing you can do is find a good artist who can do a reference based off description alone, and use your imagination! Think of a character that suits you, and describe them in the most detail you can!
My first ref sheet was done by RavingAngel on FA by (effectively) description alone!
