Hi, I'm Minty, I'm generally new to Fur affinity and I'm hoping to make some new artist friends here,
a good friend of mine recently introduced me to Furrys,
and I started creating some characters. I had sooooo much fun with them.

I'm not sure if I should put them up for adoption or maybe I should make a little story out if it?
Would anyone even want to adopt my characters? Please give me some critique,
and advice on what to do with my art, I've never done anything like this before.

Btw, what is the difference between uploading into the Gallary and the Scraps?

well welcome to the forums

y not do some of both with your characters

or even try to role play, making characters is fun but to explore them and figure their personalities out and stuff is just as fun, if not even more so.
i mainly joined on here to find other artist as well as RP to get to know my characters better.

your character designs are quite nice, and i like the idea of magic glass, its something i've been playing around with in my head as well

Thanks! I think I might do that! I have a little something planned out for them now, I think I'll start a little comic for them.
I see that you do 3D! It's nice to meet 3D artists, it's the opposite of my art style.

Welcome~!
Myself, I write stories about them. c:
Host them on f-list or toybox for other people to roleplay them with you.

You can make adoptables, yea. You can also do your own thing and create a whole universe. Possibilities are endless~~

Scraps are intended for works-in-progress or other stuff you do not consider to be complete 'finished' works. Some folks use it for other purposes (especially before FA implemented a gallery folder system).

Items placed in scraps do not show up on the recently-uploaded display on the FA homepage (or your artist's homepage), but those watching you will see them in their Inbox. You can also move images into or out of Scraps without affecting their pageviews or comments.

Theoretically, you could post an incomplete pic to scraps, then later replace it with the finished version (by using the 'replace submission file' function) then reassign it to your regular gallery without affecting its hitcount/comments. But it still won't show up on the recent-upload page (since it's not a new submission). Most people would leave the unfinished pic in scraps and post the finished version as a new submission (and linking to the scraps version in the description if need be), since more people will see it that way.
