Not sure what to do (sites and art)

I've lately been quite fed up with twitter and instagram, which are the sites where I share my art the most (I left deviantART when it started to go down) but between awful cropping and quality, shitty algorithms, now the whole...NFT thing in which people on twitter can use your tweets without permission and sell them??? Im so tired and scared I just want to leave these sites (I'm not even popular/known and I haven't even gained 10 followers in a year) but I don't know where to try and share my art

I've been considering sharing more of my art here, since right now I'm only sharing furry art, both sfw and nsfw-ish, but I mostly draw human characters. I don't know how safe, useful or helpful it is to use FA as gallery/art site, honestly, since I haven't been too involved. Would you say it'd be worth to move here? And do you know any other places that might be safe or at least not awful and making me worry about people stealing my art while I get nothing from being there? I valued toyhouse too even though it's mostly a place to store characters.

I'm just very lost and sad and tired, honestly

I wish I could help. I am new and not familiar with much of what has happened previously. I am personally looking for art which is why I joined for the most part. Some of the other platforms are foreign to me. I hope you find answers

Their be FURRY NETWORK, INKBUNNY, SOFURRY, and WEASYL...............................

Wouldn't bother with TUMBLR.....................

But FA most definitely be the big one with the most users!

Or, make your own website!

Well, from my experience, Furaffinity is a very nice place to share artwork, as well as sharing it here on these forums.

Eh, I have to stop you there chief.

Furry Network I haven't used a lot, so there is that.

Inkbunny is filled with creepers. Probably not the best site to be associated with.

Nobody notices you or talks to you on sofurry.

Weasyl is the same, it feels abandoned.

I prefer Deviantart, since it's community is the most social and you can find artists who don't care about yiff work and actually care about art in terms of a media instead of porn.

Furaffinity is good for both Furry and Human artists, albeit the latter tends to be of lower statistics given that it is a Furry-centric website. I personally love seeing multiple types of artists on the site, and find it to be juuuuust social enough to pass without being too overly social and taking away from the general art appreciation aspect. I find social media like Twitter and Instagram are good if you want publicity, but the authenticity winds up suffering for it. Go figure, ey? If FA isn't your thing, you might be able to work through a blog like Tumblr, or have your own website to get that pro look. You could also find success by hosting a Telegram Group or a Discord Server, though again, in my opinion the more social something is the less art focused it tends to be.

Im in the same situation ! I just begun on furaffinity but there are so many people, so a new submission only last 2 sec on the main page, and without any base nobody check you art :'l it does feel discouraging doing a 10 hours art work and having like, 20 views and 2 likes when youre lucky *sigh* Im happy to draw anyway so im not drawing only to have views, but still itd feel good to have some sweet ValidationTM you know haha.

Insta or other sns i never did but it indeed seem frightening and high maintenance ! not sure its worth to put time in it to be drown in algorithms who always put already popular users on the front. Does anyone who tried twit/inst/tumblr etc could tell us if its worth it ?

Ill check the other websites ppl talked about here, thanks everybody for the advices : o)
