Bookmarks are a real pain in the butt. Same as I can save emails so I don't have to bookmark things I find interesting. Something happens to my computer and I lose my 'marks, I'm screwed. Much nicer to have them saved on a server.

I'd also love to see some check boxes in the messages. Ability to delete multiples at once in the in/out boxes.

hi all I was wondering if it was possible to have a send to cellphone option kind of like deviantart does

nothing fancy would be necesary just a button that would txt a copy of a pic to your phone once you put the number in a private part of your profile

And it would actually have a good, practical use.

Or maybe a rating system thing for submissions?
Maybe even a rating system for users... Different from the other rating system thing I saw somewhere else. The one that rated FAusers according to faves and watches and stuff.

I was just going to suggest that. Writers may want a poll for their readers to vote on what you happen next in an ongoing story, for instance.

How about allowing comments to be edited UNTIL someone else comments on them, ala Livejournal? Perhaps leave a 'deleted comment' placeholder if you delete a comment that has already been replied to?
I know the ability to delete your own/others comments has been discussed in here before and a concern was that people would attempt to delete abusive comments that they'd made and therefore 'get away' with it? A suitable fix would be to 'mirror' said comment in the inbox of the person who supplied the parent comment/submission/journal or whatever? It could stay in their inbox until they delete it and they could foward that to an admin in the event of abuse.
The fact that, after all of these years of FA's existance, there is no way to delete comments (be they yours or someone else's) on a submission, is one of the biggest flaws in the system.

I was just randomly thinking, and thought up the idea of user created groups or clubs. It would be interesting, there could be options for group art trades, secret santas, contests and the like. Think of the possibilities!

...and I just want a way to connect to my fellow meerkats more easily. Kat Club ftw. xD

Unless the rumors Ive heard of their existence are true, and I just cant find them.
If they are, then make them work like that. xD

Groups did once exist upon these forums, if that is what you imply. I do believe they were removed for abuse or something like that.

As for the mainsite, they simply don't exist unless a single user account is used to link up to many accounts

I would really like for the thumbnail accompanying music submissions to be bigger. It's a shame having beautiful cover artwork at like 60x60 wide. If this has been discussed before, then I'm sorry, however, I'm more lazy than I'm sorry.

This would be a bad move to put custom HTML into the pages

<script> </script> tags and various other forms of tags could be used to exploit the site from what i've been lead to believe over the past years

you can write a PHP parser wich only allows Twitter or any other script and denies the rest.

just check for the specific scripts and run the trough a switch/case in a loop?

I'd kind of like to see an 'activity' feature integrated into userpages, ala Deviantart (yeah yeah yeah I know, stop hitting me :( ) ... something to be able to view comments left by the user on other submissions, etc. There can be a setting in the profile to keep it private or allow it to be viewed by others.

Definitely need a page number bar so you can get to past submissions faster rather than clicking next page a few hundred times. Also for some reason when I click update random mode it shows me the same few submissions every time.
