Ill be brief and blunt. I have a serious addiction to pornography. Mainly furry. I want to shutdown my account permanently, so I wont be able to view the mature stuff. I mean no insult to any other FA users and the furry fandom. It is simple a problem with me, who I am, and what im doing with my life (if that makes sense). please help.

They cant delete accounts. You could make another account and use the filters or the sfw options.

You can disable your account from external views, as much as I know, but I have no idea if that counts as account deleting.
In addition to that, you could try asking a friend of yours to secretely change your password into long, undecifrable jibber-jabber so it's sure you could never access to it again. xP

Visitors cannot see adult content. You have to have an account registered as 18+ and with the auto-filter turned off.

The problem with that suggestion is that I'm sure FA, like most places, want you to confirm your new password by typing it in identically a second time. That's not saying that you couldn't pick a string of random jibberish as a password, but it would have to be created in something like Notepad, then pasted into both password fields to make sure it was the same.

At that point you could just delete the Notepad without saving and never know your password again.

Making an insane password will not brick your account since you can always recover the password with the email you used to sign up to FA.

And in any case, even if you could delete your account entirely, you could still always just make another one.

I'm sorry my friend but once this fandom has you, it is almost impossible to leave it.

you could put "age:13" in your profile/settings and then muck around until a mod/admin sees. they'll age-lock your account for 5 years and then you won't be able to see mature or adult art

Admins can't age-lock an account based on that age field alone, since that field is often used to enter a character's age.

OP: I'm just going to be blunt: It's not FA's responsibility to keep you from browsing porn on FA.
If you can't stop yourself from visiting the site, what's stopping you from creating a new account, should the admin team lock your current one?

Like other people said here, Just change your password to some gibberish. And work on your self-control.

I don't know how young you are, but I'm thinking it's also possible that you'll change your mind in the future about shutting down your account. Maybe a simpler solution would be to block the site itself in your browser or something, if there is any chance that you may want to come back you won't lose access to your account.

Just my two cents. Out of everything in this thread, do what you like.
