My name is Yokka-Yon. I usually only lurk around forums, but figured it would be polite to at least introduce myself. A bit about myself: I like to bake things like chocolate molten cake and absolutely adore cute things like stuffed animals. Though I've read the newbie threads, they don't solve my inefficiency with communication, so I ask that you please forgive my stiff way of talking. I am hoping that being here will help me get better at being more social. =3

Pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name. But what's puzzling you is the nature of my game. :V

Welcome to the forums.

Is the game that there is no game? Thank you for the welcome!

Thank you! It's very snuggly looking. Does he have a name, or may I give him one? ^w^

Well salutations there!

I do believe that being here increases socialness, albeit in a very brutal and meanish way

Thank you, TechnoGypsy.

I've noticed some of that around the forums. I take it it's a normal occurrence to figure out what a person is like?

Hullo Yokka. Welcome to the fantabulous furry forums. (Alliteration! :D) I'm more of the cooking type myself. Never been very good at baking. And stuffed animals are great. I only have a few, but they're quite nice. Don't worry about the way you talk, it's a little formal, but some types just use that style of writing. I'm sure you'll fit right in. ^^ I'm totally guessing on that because I'm new too, but... >>;

Still not at 10k posts
..Apparently you totally missed the reference there. I am disappoint.

That usually happens when you use some random references if you have absolutely no idea the recipient ever heard of of the subject.

- Cooking is great too! What sort of things do you like to prepare? And thank you for welcoming me. Welcome to you as well ^.^

Obtuse Tail - Game?

Cyanide_tiger - I apologize. It's as Thatch said, I'm not very good at picking up on random references.

Thatch - It's as you say.

Mostly common home-cooking like meatloaf, roasts, and stews. I can make some mean Tex-Mex, Italian, or Asian cuisine though. I have a bit of trouble with the Asian though because I usually don't have all of the spices. (What is it with them and using 1/4 teaspoon measurements of twelve different spices anyways?) DX The only real baking I can do is biscuits and simple things like cookies or pie.

No one is exempt from Rolling Stones references.

No one.

Please keep your mitts on, I shall be sure to do more research next time. :V

Home-cooking is the best kind of cooking since it's always diverse depending on whose home you enter.

It can be a bit of a pain to obtain all the ingredients, but I'm pretty sure that so many are used because blending spices is a great way to create complex flavors. The more variety in spices, the more the flavor will change. Many spices are strong in larger amounts, so smaller portions may be used to minimize the chance that any one spice will overtake the flavors of the others. In the end it's almost always worth it. Baking wise, you have pretty much everything needed. Who doesn't like biscuits, cookies, and pie? :3

... Why is everyone talkin' about beatles and stones?

For debate's sake?
