Pokémon Necro Information Thread

Okay, so I've been thinking about this for awhile, and well, here we are!

So, if you aren't aware, I've got another two threads involving Pokémon Necro, and I think a long lost ad somewhere? One is the rp thread where we role play the game, I guess it's what I could call it. And the discussion thread, where we just have chats or talk about the role play. Here, you CANNOT and SHOULDN'T comment, as this is where I provide the important bits of information that you'll need to know for your journey into the land of the infected Pokémon and Furs.

Seriously, DON'T COMMENT HERE, that's all I ask of you.

The main thread:

The discussion thread:

Common Infected

Shamblers are the victims of the long term effects of the Necro Virus, resulting in significant degradation of their bodies as well as major loss of movement, speed, and coordination. They make up the majority of the zombie types nowadays, making their biggest strength their sheer numbers.

They can be attracted by a majority things, such as the scent of blood and loud noises, such as gunfire and explosions.

They will attack with swings and scratches or grabbing onto someone and biting intk them.
Rapids are those who have recently been turned into a zombie. Making them still physically and psychology alive, but mostly driven by an uncontrolled rage. They still retain some of their memories and will go to locations of significance to them, this will also make them recognise others and attempt to reach them, only to begin attacking without thinking.

They can be attracted by loud noises, like explosions, gunshots, and the calls of a screecher.

They'll attack with swings, scratches, kicks, and attempt to bite into their target, all in rapid succession.
The last stage of the 'evolution' of the shamblers, leaving their skin to barely stick to their bones, with chunks of meat falling off them from even the slightest movement. Living in a state of constant agony, one would be cruel to not lay on of these pour souls to rest.

They are incredibly slow, and can't even hurt you if they tried. Their teeth have long fallen from their jaws and their muscles have weakened over the years.

Mercy is all we can give these poor tormented souls, hoping they can finally rest in peace after these three years of unrest.

Uncommon Infected

An infected individual who was seemingly once a body builder, making them much stronger than the typical infected. They are capable of smashing through doors with ease if they know a survivor is inside, and will attempt to smash through solid walls, with varying degrees of success. They have also been seen lugging around heavy weights that they'll lug at anyone within range.

They don't usually bite, but are capable of doing so. They prefer to use their strength to their advantage in combat, or hit someone with their heavy training equipment.
Basically a Shambler on fire, there isn't much to say about these things other than the fact they can set alight anything flammable. So be sure to keep that in mind whenever around one of these.
A flying zombie variant who stalks the survivors through the skies, making it a precaution to always keep an eye on the skies. They won't hesitate to soar down and stab their talons into you as they begin to carry you off to a dark zone.

The only thing they'll do is stab their talons into your shoulders and attempt to carry you away into high altitude if possible.
An infected aquatic based creature who can traverse the land and sea, depending on their body type. If they only have fins, they ain't getting on land. Taking a dip into a nearby muddy pond might not be the safest idea with how many of these things like to hide out in murky water.

They use all the same attacks of a shambler, with the addition of sharp coral spikes that they will use the slash survivors.
What remains of infected bug based organisms, their bodies now stand still as statuses, fragile as shattered glass, and containing what used to be their inards, now turned into an infectious goop.

As they are just husks filled with some kinda goop that contains the Necro Virus, they aren't alive anymore. And can't move due to the lack of any inner organs and muscles, which have all become the goo found inside.
These timid infected will only scavenge the already dead corpses of survivors, and immensely run away from any living being they see. Due to this, they tend to only come out under the cover of night.

Purple blisters grow all over their bodies, and it seems that researchers were very interested in these while a cure was still being developed, leading many to speculate it may be important to get some of these blisters themselves, but going out at night is basically suicide.

Dispute them not directly infecting anyone, they can taint any meats they come across. Making these proteins slightly hard to come by.
Shadow Hunters are an infected who only emerge at night, using the cover of darkness to their advantage. Most infected can be easily dealt with, but this isn't the case for the Shadow Hunters. The best option for most is the get into a safe house and pray that they don't break down that door that's keeping them from you.

They are able to leap quite great distances, and hold down a survivor before proceeding to tear them to shreds. They're just like a rapid, but much, much worse. Truly, a reason to not go out at night.

Since they never enter the daylight, UV lights have proven an effective defensive strategy for most safe zones.
By far one of the most dangerous infected variants, either being a dragon-type Pokémon or a dragon. They can also be a dinosaur. Their scales can protect them from most ranges of damage, like fire and bullets. Their strength is also quite incredible, smashing a solid wall of concrete in a single hit.

They'll use their strength and size to their advantage, ripping out pieces of concrete from the ground or picking up heavy boulders to throw at survivors who are far enough away from them.

Most who encounter this creature never live to tell the tale, or live long enough to become infected.
They aren't very aggressive and won't attack anyone, but they will scream as loud as they can to attract rapids and shamblers to their location. They are even more dangerous at night, as these screams can also attract shadow hunters, if some haven't found you already.

These screams are ear-piercing, so it's best to cover yours when around one.
These infected are able to spit their stomach acid at you, which is even worse due to the necro virus effecting their vomit to be even more corrosive. They could melt a wooden door down if given enough time, so it hurts just imaging what that same acid will do to your body.
They're leg muscles have been affected in such a way that allows them to end effortlessly leap across rooftops and even balance atop the shoulders of a survivor or fellow zombie. They've been quite the nuisance in recent times.

They have been known to follow their prey over long distances without attacking, awaiting the perfect ambush. If one leaps onto your back, it'll already be too late if you don't react fast enough.
An infected who've grown rock hard blisters all over their bodies. This constricts their movement by quite a large margin, but it also makes their charge attacks all the more powerful. However, their only attack is also their weakness. Slamming into a solid object can break these blisters, making them easier to damage.
Hazmats were once part of a special unit tasked with finding perhaps a vaccine or cure to the sudden brake out of the virus, and were protected by military forces. These former unit members now lurk among the infected monsters that they once sought to destroy.

They cannot bite due to the protective suits, but this also makes them immune to being lit aflame. They can only attack by swinging their arms at a target.

On their backs is an oxygen tank that once hit, can cause the suit to rapidly inflate until it explodes, bowling up the suit and the Hazmat in one fell swoop. This, however will attract Rapids.
An infected Poison type Pokémon known for their poisonous bites and ability to spit toxic waste you're way in a heartbeat. Anyone who dies from a bite to this variant of infected will turn into a Toxibite.

They are as weak as a shambler, so killing them isn't any harder. If you forget the toxic spit, that is.
A tough to kill infected due to it's rock hard exterior, not to mention the sharp crystals that have protruded from their bodies to make them even more dangerous to fight.

Many safe zones have fallen thanks to these creatures and their tendencies to ram into every wall they see when it knows a survivor is nearby.
An infected electric type who's bodies have become overflown with electrify, giving them a tendency to explode from the slight hint of damage to their body. If they grab onto you, you'll be shocked with so many volts you'll be crisp before you know it.

They can often be found near power plants.
An infected Pokémon who used sound based attacks now turned into a creature who uses sonic booms to blow your brains out. Literally! It's best to attack them from a very, very safe distance.
An infected ghost type Pokémon, these horrible creatures use their toxic gas fumes to infect anyone who accidentally inhales it. Not only that, they can infect any dead bodies nearby, turning them into it's possessed slaves. They'll only die the it dies.
An infected fairy type Pokémon who can lead survivors into a trap by wailing in hopes to attract them. Though this won't always work. They have also been known to ambush people from behind, which can be quite devastating.
An infected steel type Pokémon who's bodies have begun to rust. Most of them are unable to move due to just how rusted their joints have become, while others can move, but very slowly.

The one's that can move will usually hide among one's who can't, making them a strangely more inelegant infected variant.
An infected ground type Pokémon who hide underneath the ground and will drag any survivors into a buried demise. Many skeletons have been found in former Quicksand dug holes.

Be warny when walking amongst the grains of sand or the beautiful soil. A Quicksand may be laying in wait.
An infected ice type Pokémon who will certainly give you frost bite. A bite from these will chill you to the bone, giving you hypothermia. They are externally weak to fire and heat, so as long as you have a heater that still works, you should be safe in that safe zone.
An infected grass type Pokémon who has been overtaken by their plant side. Their entire body is made of vegetation, and can regrow any missing parts that have been broken off. Burning or freezing them is the only way to permanently dispose of them.
An infected psychic type Pokémon who use their psychic powers to the benefit of themselves, making them one of the most dangerous infected types. They'll set up traps, ambush, teleport, or just drag you into a horde with their powers.

Warning! Danger! Danger!

The once legendary dragon of ideals, Zekrom, has now become a Tyrant with the ability to control lightning to it's will. It is more powerful than any of the other infected you'd typically see due to it's legendary status.

It hangs out in the power plant, preventing anyone from restoring power across the country of Unova.
The once legendary dragon of truth, Reshiram, has now become a Tyrant with the power to control fires. Due to being a Pokemon of legend, it is immensely more powerful than any other Tyrant you'd encounter. Not many have lived to tell the tale of this magnificent beast, and any who went to slay it were never seen again.

It can be found at what once was the Unovan Pokémon League.

The World

The virus started so suddenly, it all began in the Unovan region where in Nimbasa city, a viral contagion titled the Necro Virus broke out, leading to many to become infected as the diseased patients ran out of way hospital as Rapids.

The rest of the world wasn't safe as the Drowned infected soon began to roam the seas of Unova before it spread to the other regions.

Now all that remains of the Furs and Pokémon now riside in their respective regions in hopes to survive after these three long years of the zombie apocalypse.
The Necro Virus is an aggressive viral contagion with no seemingly known cure. Amy infected blood, salvia, food, gas, or tissue can spread this virus at an alarming rate, only have three hours until the first symptoms begin to show, and at that point, it's already too late. Amputation is able to prevent you from becoming infected, at the cost of a limb.
Three hours after first contact with infection: Subject began developing flu-like symptoms and grew a high fever.

Five hours after first contact with infection: Subject had a massive loss in energy and began forgetting things. Dementia and fatigue are now classified as symptoms of infection.

Ten hours after first contact with infection: Subject had entered a comatosed state, and seemingly died five hours after the state of comatose. Analysis, Fifteen hours before one will become an infected individual.

Kanto

The town of Pallet is relatively safe, with some barricades set up towards route 1 and the sea. They are safe for now, quite lucky for them. Though the supplies aren't unlimited, and they have to risk themselves to loot for some much needed food and water.
Viridian has been overrun by the infected, leaving it barren with destroyed and decaying buildings. It makes a good looting ground, that is, if you're willing to walk through hordes upon hordes of shamblers.
Being under constant attack from the infected or Bandits, Pewter is protected by the barricades they have set up. But will needs guards to be on watch from sun up til sun down. They won't usually let somebody from the outside into the city's "walls."
Nothing remains of the once beautiful city of Cerulean. After the legendary Pokémon known as Mewtwo become infected, it unleashed a psychic attack that devastated the surrounding area. Leaving nothing left standing.
One of the biggest bandit outposts in Kanto, Vermillion has been completely taken over by Bandits after the tragic demise of Lt. Surge. Anyone who used to live inside before the bandits took over are now either dead or forced to work amongst their invaders.
This town that once respected the dead has now fallen to the hordes of the shambling infected. There isn't much here other than the medical supplies that remain inside it's hospital and Pokémon Center. And whether is left in it's Poke Mart. However, if someone where to active that Radio Tower... Global communications could be restablished!
A step up from any bandit outpost you'd ever encounter. The criminal organization Team Rocket as taken complete control of the city, and with their secret hideout down below which can be safely sealed at any time, Giovanni is living the highlife. You better hope you don't cross Team Rocket, otherwise they'll be on your tail until either they or the infected get you.
The walls of this city have protected them from the horrors of the outside and are willing to let uninfected survivors into their walls. There's plenty of food and water, making this the safe haven of the Kanto Region. And their skilled ninja guards make it all the more safer.
Completely seald off from the rest of the world, the Silph Co has made it so that Saffron will be the only place in the world that is infection free and still having a normal civilisation. Though, these are just rumours, as no one has ever been inside.

Safe Zones

-Mauville City

Despite being petty damaged, it's active and operable, for the most part. All windows are barricaded and reinforced, but they still show just how many times they have been broken into and repaired, up until now.

Overunn/Infected/Quarantine Zones

-Hoenn Region

Set up in the woods next to a waterfall, it consisted of three trailers and a bunch of makeshift tents and shelters. The perimeter is wooden fencing lined with spikes to prevent the infected from getting in. Unfortunately, the perimeter didn't do it's job well enough.
