Pokésonas: How Did You Find Yours?

Just as the title reads: furs with Pokésonas, how did you decide which one (or ones) to use?

I’ve been thinking about making a Pokésona, but I can’t seem to decide which one to use because between dex entries and sentimental value, there’s just so many! I’m so torn. I’d like to know how others got their ideas so I might be able to narrow down my search

I'm still not 100% sure if it's the right choice but I chose a fancy ass Persian who's seductive, cruel and rich enough to do anything and everything she want's.

Go with Pikachu since Riolu is a VERY fighting type and from little I know about you, you do not seem like a fighter.

If I have to fight I have to to fight. I play dying light and other games like that, I could punch someone

Video games are not the same as actually fighting someone.

If you want it to be Riolu then make it Riolu: just know that you're not really basing it off anything but looks so that would make it much less personal than if you based it off of shared traits. For me, I picked Persian because they are known to be elegant and sadistic ("Behind its lithe, elegant appearance lies a barbaric side. It will tear apart its prey on a mere whim") and so am I.

Again, do what you want but you're much more likely to connect with it if it's a species you have at least a few things in common with.

I can fight someone in real life too, only if I have too. That's kinda what Pokémon is about, you can skip fights if you need to, or just don't wanna fight unless necessary.

That's just trainers, though. Pokemon are actually violent as hell (if you've played Legends Arceus then you know what I mean: that entire game is about wild Pokemon kicking your ass until you're knocked the fuck out and need to be saved by a fellow corps member) and will naturally fight each other all the time (Pokemon battles are just a more organized way to get stronger without taking things too far like any other sport where you fight). Granted, there ARE exceptions and have been shown many times in the anime Pokemon that don't really like to fight or are hesitant to...but fighting types are just that because they have mastered fighting so much that it becomes their classification so it would be a lot harder to justify one that just doesn't really like fighting (even Ash's Riolu was just ready to go RIGHT out of the egg).

I never really played Mystery Dungeon so I can't really say anything to that. All I know is that Pokemon are wrecking each other's shit ALL the time.XD

I picked appletun because it's cute and underrated! Grass types in general have always been my favorite ^^ I also really like baking and reptiles. It was my favorite pokemon for a while and its design is relatively simple. All-in-all just pick a pokemon you feel suits you!

That’s the hard part! XD Purely for aesthetics, I’m torn between Noivern and Salandit, so I might just go with a hybrid… but Absol has always been my number one favorite and the dex entry is basically story of my life. It’s a tough three-way tie
