Don't offer her Peanut Butter or Mayonnaise and you'll be fine.
(That would have been her about 2000 years ago, these days she prefers to defeat her enemies with cutting wit.)

Hey Minty, maybe we can condition some of these food phobias out of you, with a stay at Simo by the Sea™. :p

It is odd, I have thought, why some are rather fussy eaters, while others seem to like most everything. I've often pondered the psychology of this. Myself, I think growing up in the country, and growing a lot of our own fruits and vegetables, I was amazed by seeing them grow, and picking them, that I developed a certain reverence for them, from asparagus to melons, from cabbage to cucumbers. And also: having chickens for eggs, and keeping a goat. And also, fish from the lakes, and the occasional game bird, or venison. If well prepared, it's very, very hard to find a food I don't like.

In fact, I can think of only one popular food that I don't care for, especially heated: common in Germany, Poland and Austria, and made from a vegetable I eat otherwise...it sometimes activates a gag reflex. But I shall keep it a secret....

Is the vegetable it's made from a potato, perchance?

Is anybody? : P

I suppose I could enjoy one, if made crispy, and gussied up some.

But the food in question is pretty common...

I usually find that cat food smells a lot more edible than dog food. The dry food I use for my kitty (she doesn't like wet food) actually smells quite nice!

(I'm still not going to try it!)

Actually, tried one as well :p

A bit salty, and more plain that I thought.

Can't say that I have. Not a fan of seafood at all, really. I'll eat non-smoked white fleshed fish, and that's it.

Oh, my...more foods to tease you about :p

How about seaweed? I didn't think I would like it, but had a seaweed salad, and it was quite tasty.

Also: a cat...who doesn't like fish!!!!!
