It is odd, I have thought, why some are rather fussy eaters, while others seem to like most everything. I've often pondered the psychology of this. Myself, I think growing up in the country, and growing a lot of our own fruits and vegetables, I was amazed by seeing them grow, and picking them, that I developed a certain reverence from them, from asparagus to melons, from cabbage to cucumbers. And also: having chickens for eggs, and keeping a goat. And also, fish from the lakes, and the occasional game bird, or venison. If well prepared, it's very, very hard to find a food I don't like.
In fact, I can think of only one popular food that I don;t care for, especially heated: common in Germany, Poland and Austria, and made from a vegetable I eat otherwise...it sometimes activated a gag reflex. But I shall keep it a secret....
