Good to know you recognized the true power of your fellow prey and joined our side!
(Please don't go back to your vampiric ways or I'll use my hamon to kick your ass)
Well... no promises!

Reminds me of my short-lived CS days in college where I would just go on to try and do things alone, scratching my head in confusion, then finally going "fuck this"You're absolutely right... because I just finished programming for two hours and am too tired to fight ><

Yep, my love story with CS in general died just after the first semester. Some things really look cooler before trying to make sense of how they actually work.I feel that. Tried CS, got to the Big Exam, failed the Big Exam, switched majors ^^;

Oh it is challenging and "fun" until the grades come in and you realize that not only were you doing it wrong, but you also don't know how to fix your mistakes either.To be fair, that sounds like CS when it's going well.
Also, happy birthday, @Tazmo! Here's a birthday caique.

Same, but instead of hello world messages I would just insert the navy seal copypasta instead. Fun times.*Posts in BASIC*

Had a similar experience with my wacky HTML website that looked good and made me believe the rest of the course would be both easy and fun.In first year, I made one of those puzzles where you slide tiles around until it makes a picture. I was pretty proud of myself. Then second year hit, and man, did it go downhill from there.
The risk I took was calculated, but man. Am I bad at math.
