Well in Skyrim you were still under arrest (and on the way to the chop) Daggerfall you were free in (and on a mission for the empire no less).Any The Elder Scrolls except Skyrim? (Don't know about the first two though)

Since I only played the last three games I thought they really liked the cliche of starting in a prison/being under captivityWell in Skyrim you were still under arrest (and on the way to the chop) Daggerfall you were free in (and on a mission for the empire no less).

The Elder Scroll Series seems to show that the fate of Tamriel mostly relies on the unknown prisoners of unknown charges. Lets have a bite of mudcrab meat in their memory!Well in Skyrim you were still under arrest (and on the way to the chop) Daggerfall you were free in (and on a mission for the empire no less).

Having played all 5 (not necessarily finishing them) I liked to use the same character each game (1 - 4 happen within a reasonable enough timeframe that you could be the same person and since immortality (Vampire) happens in Oblivion you could still be around for Skyrim (or just be an Elf)).The Elder Scroll Series seems to show that the fate of Tamriel mostly relies on the unknown prisoners of unknown charges. Well, it's the same in all the 'Heroic Legends' the hero saves the day and then... What?Well, let's then have some Skooma in the memory of the immortal hero of the Empire! (Who gets regularly detained, seems saving the world is a serious crime, or... oh dear... your crime is so severe, you're only lowering your sentence all this time. Did some job, now back to the prison!)

Well... When I started playing Morrowind, it didn't occur to me, what moon sugar really was. And I was trading with it, because it was a good profit XDWell, it's the same in all the 'Heroic Legends' the hero saves the day and then... What?
Nothing is said about what you do after you save the day.
I like to think that the hero is so annoyed at people coming up and asking to hear the story once more, that you just behave disgracefully and get thrown in prison, purely for some peace.

All this Skyrim talk is making me want to go back to it and create what would possibly be my 14th save in that game.
Obviously another stealth Khajiit because Argonians suck.
