Predators and Prey

Cosmic-FS

A creature of the night
*I walk out of Birb Inc. at the end of a long day doing bird business and make my way home. As I pass between the forest trees, their green leaves turning a majestic shade of red and gold, I breath in that crisp autumn air and say:*

An owl's eyes are so large that they can account for up to 5% percent of the owl's total body weight.

This has been your random owl fact for the day.

So, you gonna kill the spider?

The flying itself is actually pretty relaxing. The air is generally calmer (less turbulence since the ground is cooling), and there's less traffic. The hard part is getting to bed at ???AM, since some nights go longer than others. And then there's having to wake up early to deal with Veteran's Affairs within the 0.3 hours that they're actually open, but that's another story entirely.

But yes, chicken soup also sounds amazing right about now.
