I want to strangle the guy who did my rear brakes last year. I had to change the rotors and pads on the rear of the car. They were making funny sounds and vibrating in an alarming manner. Draconis and I did them ourselves, and when we got the wheels off, the rotors on each side had broken from the hubs. They looked like a couple of frisbee rings in there. In other words, zero back brakes. The pads weren't installed properly is my guess, and one bolt was missing from the bracket on one side. I'm lucky I had the front brakes done recently or I wouldn't have had much in the way of stopping power.
