@bkk1 : Remind me to return to the topic of the Great Lakes sometime, but they are different from each other, in many ways...Lake Erie is very shallow, polluted, sometimes green, and pretty much the ugly red-headed stepchild of the great lakes :p Well, and it's also that Ohio is a flat, boring place where no reasonable would choose to live, (which folks in Michigan firmly believe :p), but that Lake Michigan and Lake Superior are much deeper, prettier, cleaner, and have some amazing cliffs, bluffs and dunes.

Sleeping Bear Dunes are nearby here, and really amazing, as are the adjacent inland lakes. And Michigan is very much Great Lakes Central. In fact, on the flag, which shows a deer and a moose about to get it on, it says in Latin, "If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look around you!", on it. And if you seek flat cornfields...er...move to Ohio!!!

Well, I was viewing Lake Erie in the Erie district of PA. PA has a very tiny bit of land that connects to Lake Erie. I didn't have much to compare the lake too, because the biggest lake I've seen is the one in Rickets Glen (lovely waterfalls, by the way!) and the campgrounds of Por Valley (also kinda pretty). We here at Pennsylvania are pretty indifferent when it comes to Ohio, but that's probably because we both have a butt ton of fields lol. I don't mind that though, it's my favorite terrain! Lots of pretty forests here, too.
But Michigan sounds wonderful! I love that little tidbit about the flag, too! That's so nice :D. Thank you for the advice, I'll definitely have to pop in and see the other lakes. I'm just a stone toss away, after all!

Here is the lake at Poe Valley and the lake at Rickets Glen, respectively:

They seem like ponds compared to the great lakes XD

Did you bring your library card? No? GOOD! This is a mischief library! You clearly aren't taking your studies seriously if you follow the rules too closely!
