Why is every social achievement, that European countries have, seen as communist in the States? Like healthcare or a good unemployment insurance?
I'd say the US economy would run better with a good social system, as it would allow people to go back working easier after an accident or losing the job ^^

(personally I support progressive social systems and I know there are benefits to the US adapting a kind of democratic socialism with regards to schools, libraries, emergency services, and social security. But for now ...)
