Side note for another fact (I don't have a problem, I can quit when I want): This year in aviation history, a Cessna 172 (I told you these things were everywhere) named Hacienda sets a world endurance record. The flight takes off from McCarran Airport in Las Vegas with pilots Robert Timm and John Cooke. Departing on December 4, 1958, they would remain airborne for 64 days, 22 hours, 19 minutes, and 5 seconds, finally landing on February 4, 1959. The record stands to this day, and Hacienda is now on display in the McCarran Airport terminal building.
