Predators and Prey

Keefur

aka Cutter Cat
I will relate a story of when I first used a microwave. I had gotten one as a wedding present in 1981. I never had used one, so I thought I would cook some biscuits in it. I put the biscuits on a plate and popped them into the microwave. They fluffed up nicely, but didn't brown, so I put more time on the oven. I waited and they didn't brown, so I did a few more minutes. Again, they didn't brown, but had started smelling funny. I took one and tried to break it open. It was like a hockey puck. It finally did break and was a dark black/brown inside. Oops.

And people call milk in bags weird.

There was a period when milk in bags was fairly popular here in Michigan, though I have not seen it in a long time. It seems like the format was a half-gallon, and a plastic pitcher you could also buy, that had a sorta spout that you could put the bag in, to neatly cut it, so it poured smoothly.
