Greetings all!

Hello Thrashy Skunk!

Was just idly browsing audio equipment I can't afford on the net here; something I am prone to doing : )

Hey i was just recently looking up a tube phono pre-amp for something like 12'000 CHF xD
I guess I'll stay with transistor amps for the moment :D

Was looking at this dreamy amplifier: (used, working to specs)

NO.331.jpg

Mark Levinson #331
100/200/300 WPC 8/4/2 ohms
Class 'A' Operation (voltage is held constant during operation)

Weight: 132 pounds

Hefty & Pretty, pretty, pretty! And only $1600! (was something like $5,000 when new, in the late 1990s)

Could also be used as a space heater, given all those heat-sinks :p

Somebody: Gimmie money :p

@Thrashy : was looking at pre-amps, and phono stages, before this...must get back more to the realms of possibility, here : )

I'll get a tube preamp (and maybe main amp too) one day, I mean not all of them are that expensive ^^

But at the moment my equipment is good enough. Got that stuff when I've had a better paid job, so I hope it lasts for at least 10 years :)
