Enlighten us about the differences between Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy.
That's not my area of expertise :(

I've never actually played either of those games. The Final Fantasy series looks very appealing, though :D

You always have such amazing facts btw!!!;)

Oooh, I'll love to add a fact!

The 'swimming test' for witches in the medieval and early modern periods, contrary to popular belief, was not based on if the victim drowned (and was thus innocent) or survived (and was therefore guilty.) It was simply weather they floated or sank. If they sank they would be fished out before they could drown, although sometimes this was done too late. So while certainly utterly barbaric, the practice was not the no win certain death sentence it has been imagined to be.
That sounds horrible D:

I sure am glad that kinda stuff was left in the old ages!

*runs away from this monstrosity*

But...but...it's from Rick and Morty!

Indeed! There are even reports of it continuing into the mid 19th century.
But yeah, glad we've moved on from those terrible practices

especially me, for no particular reason...

Well, you'd undeniably float! We all know that foxes are inherently guilty, too, so there wouldn't really be any difference if you did surface :D

Right, I will not abide such slander! I'll present ye with some fox facts to prove you wrong!

#1 Robin Hood! All around good guy! Steals from the rich to feed the poor!:D

Ah, thought I was being prepared for the Final Judgement...

Hehe, that's what everyone thinks in the episode at first!

I'm tired of people saying Robin Hood "stole from the rich to give to the poor". That in itself wouldn't be morally justified. He stole from the CORRUPT and gave to the poor. Righteous rich dudes were fine. He punished evildoers, swindlers, and exploiters, who just happened to be rich thanks to their evil ways. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Robin Hood fan. So much so that I want his legacy accurately repeated!

The presence of Akira Toriyama as an artist?
At least something every few days, when I have time to compile these.

In the meantime, everyone else keep posting facts and fill in the gaps. It's fun learning what people are passionate about.
Sweet, I'll look up some facts and post them here when I can. Not now though, I'm too busy procrastinating.

Poor King John...his name now being an euphemism for water closets

Lol, yeah. King John certainly had many great flaws, though he was actually very strong on administration.

you're right, lol. it's something that's oversimplified.

BTW, do you think fox badger is a good description of a raccoon?:p

They are a curious animal! And there's not much else similar to raccoons, at least in North America.
