Pretty much self taught.
I have a stack of art books and cartooning ones but I more use them for reference. I started tracing favourite character from the comics I got as a child (I still have a lot of them). After a while I began to duplicate pictures, just looking at them, figuring out the basic shapes that they were built from and then redrawing it at a different size, then starting to relax a little when doing so to allow my own style to develop. I started doing furrys about five years ago, I find them easier and more expressive than humans.

I'm still learning, that's what the 365 challenge is about.

This does! Your self-teaching is inspiring. While I prefer something more along the lines of a curriculum rather than "Here's a pencil, good luck!" I suppose your story is proof that I can in fact learn things without having to follow procedure.
