The charity was Tigers for Tomorrow. They are a big cat rescue group in Alabama.

That's great! Reminds me of last year when the Mexican furry convention Confuror raised charity for the conversation of the Mexican Wolf.

Awesome!!! And that's quite something, having all your hair shaved off - although it is a great cause, so totally worth it!

They had actually written AWOO into my beard. This doesn't show the final product. They took off everything but the eyebrows. I didn't realize how much insulation my fur gave me.

The last time I had a shaved head was when I was five years old. It makes me feel very self-conscious. A few years ago, I let them shave my moustache. It hadn't been shaved since 1973. It almost made me tear up when I lost it. You know though, it's for the kitties. My hair will (hopefully) grow back. At my age, that isn't a sure bet anymore.
